Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Scout von Knophen is a stunning 18 month old classic looking German Shepherd. He is very large and he also has the best personality to match his good looks. Scout is friendly and affectionate with people. He loved the attention from our volunteer who took his pictures and he even turned over for tummy rubs. He has an impressive presence when you see him standing watching everything going on around him. He had no reaction to all the other dogs barking at him from behind the kennel fence, he gave them a sniff and went on his way. We feel he would do well in a family where he has another dog's company or where his owners are home a lot to avoid boredom. We are asking for a donation of $500 for Scout to help our mounting medical bills for the many sick dogs we're taking care of.
